The Nature Conservancy’s Global Fire Initiative is working with others to find solutions that allow fire to play a role in places where it benefits nature and people, and to keep fire out of places where it is destructive. Our strong foundation in science and our long history of applying prescribed fire on our preserves have positioned us to play a leading role in the development of innovative solutions to fire-related conservation challenges globally.
