What Happens When I Report a Concern?

• Your concern is treated seriously, and we will respond in the tool within five business days.
• You are treated with dignity and respect.
• You are not required to identify yourself.
• Your communication with the Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Office will be confidential to every extent possible and will only be shared with those who have a need to know.
• Your concern is addressed by E&C and/or The People Team (HR), and you are updated throughout the investigation.
• You are contacted when the investigation is complete and any findings or recommendations are shared and agreed upon by E&C, HR and the management team.

• You will be informed about the outcome and findings related to your concern.
• You will not be retaliated against for reporting a concern in good faith (meaning you genuinely believe the report to be true and accurate) even if it turns out you were mistaken.

• TNC has zero tolerance for retaliation, and a team member will follow up with known reporters to ensure they have not received unfair treatment as a result of reporting a concern.
