Details
Lunch and snacks will be provided, though volunteers should bring water and anything else they need.  Tasks include rodent-proofing the porch and lawn, maintenance to the windbreak and seedlings, washing windows and scraping and painting sills. Long pants, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and hats are a good idea. The view of Pikes Peak and the high plains is unmatched and the company is sure to be good!

Directions
From Colorado Springs, follow Highway 94 east to Yoder (look for the post office). Turn south onto Yoder Road and continue to its end (10 miles). Turn west onto Shear Road. Continue 1 mile, cross the cattle guard, and continue 2 more miles to the ranch headquarters. From the headquarters, follow the ranch road westward one mile to the field station. NOTE: Bohart Ranch is a working cattle ranch; permission to visit is required in advance.
