Creating a native plant nursery at Pawnee Prairie
In June 1999 volunteers from The Nature Conservancy of Missouri and Missouri Department of Conservation planted thousands of native prairie plant seedlings at Pawnee Prairie to have a stock of seeds for future restoration projects on the site.
