Ongoing volunteer opportunities without specific dates:

Walking Preserve Boundaries
-- Interested in maintaining preserve boundaries by foot and canoe? We could use your help on weekdays, year-round.

Photographer -- Talented professional or amateur photographers are always welcome to take and share high-quality digital or film photographs of preserve lands, plants, and/or animals or preserve scenery in all seasons. Good close-ups of plant and animal species and natural communities would be valuable to our program.  Volunteers must provide their own camera and other photography equipment.

Barn Salvager – Dismantle and remove specified barn structures at The Ward Farm in Whitehall, NY. Remove any waste caused by the salvage operation.

Craftsmen – We always need a Welder/Steel Machinist, and a Handyman.

Preserve Steward –  "Adopt" available Nature Conservancy preserves for maintenance purposes.
