The Conservation Leadership Awards Luncheon recognizes uncommon commitment to protecting and preserving the natural resources of this beautiful and diverse state and celebrates the conservation ethic in Texas. Featured speaker: M.A. Sanjayan, Ph.D., Lead Scientist, The Nature Conservancy.

As a lead scientist with The Nature Conservancy, M.A. Sanjayan manages a team that provides the scientific underpinning for organization-wide strategies and decisions. His work has been published in Science, Nature and Conservation Biology magazines and he recently co-edited “Connectivity Conservation,” a book about migrations and impediments to wildlife movement.
