About the Wisconsin Chapter

Welcome to The Nature Conservancy! Available to you are myriad opportunities and resources for participating in the preservation of Wisconsin's natural heritage. Ours is one of the most important missions of our age, and our work will be viewed by history as work that made a difference.

By protecting habitat we protect plant and animal species and natural communities. In the face of predictions that 20 percent of the world's species will be lost in 15 years, our goal is to lose none in Wisconsin.

Well served by a vigorous Board of Trustees and an excellent staff, the Wisconsin Chapter has many vital partners: its members, donors and contributors, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and other agencies, its neighbors on the land, and its invaluable volunteers. We welcome your interest and participation in the many Conservancy activities around our magnificent state.
