Ms. Lo is the former Vice Chairman of Heritage International Holdings and has many years of experience in the fashion industry. A member of The Nature Conservancy’s China Board of Trustees, she is a generous supporter of environmental and arts organizations. Ms. Lo lives in Hong Kong, travels extensively and loves the outdoors.

Mr. Ma, Huateng, as a core founder, created Tencent in 1998, and leads the Company grow into one of ’the largest and most used Internet service portals over last 15 years in China.

Mr. Ma is also dedicated and passionate in participating in charitable activities, promoting corporate social responsibility by leveraging on the Group’s online platforms. In September 2006, Mr. Ma together with the other Co-Founders of Tencent established the Tencent Charity Foundation, the first charity foundation set up by a Chinese Internet enterprise. As a committee member of Tencent Charity Foundation, Mr. Ma has leaded a number of public charity projects across China, developing innovative online charity products and services, as well as promoting charitable and philanthropic activities among the hundreds and millions of Internet users.

Mr. Ma was awarded as “The Young Global Leaders” by the World Economic Forum in 2006, “Best CEO for the Year” by the Institutional Investor magazine in 2008, “Chinese Business Leaders for the Decade” by CCTV in 2009, “Top Ten Outstanding Persons for the ShenzhenCity’s Charity Industry” and “30 Outstanding Persons for the 30th Anniversary of the Shenzhen Special Administrative Region” in 2010. Mr. Ma is also a deputy to the 5th Shenzhen Municipal People’s Congress and the 12th National People’s Congress.

Mr. Ma joined the China Board of The Nature Conservancy as China Trustee in December 2010.

Mr. Niu Gensheng is a co-founder of Mengniu Dairy Group and was its chairman until 2009. Born in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, Mr Niu graduated from Inner Mongolia University with a degree in Administration and Management and obtained a Master’s degree in Enterprise Management at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Graduate School. Mr. Niu has received numerous accolades and awards.

From 2002-2007, he was included in a list of “China’s Most Influential Business Leaders,” and was honored at the 2007 Hong Kong Business Awards. In 2008, he was included in a list of “30 Most Influential Chinese Economists in the 30 Year Opening and Reform Period” and in 2010 he became the first person to receive the “Contributions to Charity Lifetime Achievement Award.” Mr. Niu currently serves as the deputy chairman of the International Dairy Federation’s China National Committee.

Mr. Niu is one of China’s major philanthropists and was ranked third in the 2007 Hurun Top 10 for Charity. In 2004, Mr. Niu established the Lao Niu Foundation, whose primary aims are to address issues of public health, social welfare, and environmental protection in China and around the world. The mission of the foundation is “to serve public interest and to help build a harmonious society.”

Mr. OU Yaping is the Chairman of ZhongAn Online P&C Insurance Co., Ltd. Mr. OU is the founder and the substantial shareholder of Sinolink Worldwide Holdings Limited. Mr. Ou also serves as the chairman of the board of Rockbund Art Museum and a trustee for the Nature Conservancy’s Asia Pacific and China Program.

Mr. Wu is chairman of China Capital Group since October 2008, has more than 25 years of experiences as a technological innovator and telecommunications entrepreneur. Co-founder of UTStarcom Inc., Ying served as chairman and chief executive officer of UTStarcom (China) Co., Ltd. Prior to its merger with Unitech Telecom, Inc. in 1995, he was president of Starcom, Inc., which he co-founded in 1991. Previous to his founding role with these start-up enterprises, Ying was a member of the technical staff at Bellcore, and earlier a consultant to AT&T Bell Labs.

Mr. Wu is currently a member of the think-tank Consultant Committee of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, and senior consultant on Internet industry for the Shenzhen City government. He also performs Chairman of E-China Alliances.

Zeng Fanzhi was born in Wuhan, China in 1964, and lives and works in Beijing. Solo museum exhibitions include “Zeng Fanzhi: Idealism,” Singapore Art Museum (2007); “Zeng Fanzhi,” Musée d'Art Moderne de Saint-Etienne de Metropole (2007); “Zeng Fanzhi,” Fundación Godia, Barcelona (2009); and “2010: Zeng Fanzhi,” Rockbund Art Museum, Shanghai (2010). Zeng's work was the subject of a major retrospective at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris in 2013–14. In a specially commissioned exhibition at the Musée du Louvre in 2014, his painting From 1830 till now No. 4 (2014) was shown alongside Eugène Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People (1830). Zeng's work was included in the 53rd Venice Biennale (2009); “The World Belongs to You,” Palazzo Grassi, Venice (2011–12); “Passage to History: 20 Years of La Biennale di Venezia and Chinese Contemporary Art,” Arsenale di Venezia and Museum of Contemporary Art Chengdu (2013); “Ink Art: Past as Present in Contemporary China,” Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (2013–14); and “Post Pop: East Meets West,” Saatchi Gallery, London (2014–15).

Zhu, Baoguo

Mr. Zhu Baoguo, founder and chairman of China public listed pharmaceutical company—Joincare Group and also the chairman of Livzon Group, one of the most competitive public listed pharmaceutical companies in China, is the pioneer of China’s health care industry. Mr. Zhu is also an outstanding investor and practitioner, as the joint founder of Webbank, Share-holder of several famous projects such as Yu Feng Fund and MI. Besides from his devotion and achievement in business, Mr. Zhu has been taking an active part in public welfare activities for years, serving as the core initiator and participant of The Paradise International Foundation and a trustee for The Nature Conservancy China program.

Mr. Jack Ma is the lead founder of Alibaba Group and has been chairman and chief executive officer of the company since its inception in 1999. He is responsible for the overall strategy and focus of Alibaba Group. He is a pioneer in the Chinese Internet industry and in 1995 founded China Pages, one of the first Internet-based directories in China. From 1998 to 1999, Jack headed an information technology company established by the China International Electronic Commerce Center (CIECC), a department of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC).

As a respected business leader, Jack was chosen by the World Economic Forum as a "Young Global Leader" in 2001 and selected by China Central Television (CCTV) and its viewers as one of the "Top 10 Business Leaders of the Year" in 2004. He was named one of the "25 Most Powerful Businesspeople in Asia" by Fortune in 2005, a "Businessperson of the Year" by BusinessWeek in 2007 and one of the 30 "World's Best CEOs" by Barron's in 2008. In 2009, he was recognized as one of the "TIME 100: The World's Most Influential People" by TIME, one of "China's Most Powerful People" by BusinessWeek and one of the "Top 10 Most Respected Entrepreneurs in China" by Forbes Chinese edition. He also received the "2009 CCTV Economic Person of the Year: Business Leaders of the Decade Award." In March 2010, Jack was named by Forbes Asia as one of “Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy” for his contribution to poverty and disaster relief in China.

Jack currently serves on the board of SOFTBANK CORP., a leading digital information company that is publicly traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. He is also a director of Huayi Brothers Media Corporation, a company listed on The Shenzhen Stock Exchange. In 2009, Jack became a trustee of The Nature Conservancy’s China program and joined the global board of directors of the organization in 2010.
