Biography
Eduardo Hochschild studied at Tufts University, Boston, USA, obtaining a mechanical and physical engineer degree. In 1987, he joined the Hochschild Mining Group, a company with headquarters in London.
Nowadays, he serves as Executive Chairman at Hochschild Mining and Cementos Pacasmayo. He is President of the University of Engineering and Technology (UTEC) and Vice-President of Patronato de Plata del Perú. He is an active member of the Board of Directors of Asociación Promotora TECSUP and since 2014 of the Latin America Conservation Council (LACC). In addition, Eduardo is the Director of the Banco de Crédito del Perú; Comex Perú; and the Sociedad Nacional de Minería, Petróleo y Energía, as well as Counselor of the Consejo Económico de la Conferencia Episcopal.
