Biography
As a senior corporate engagement advisor, Challey Comer actively engages with food and agriculture supply chain companies to help advance The Nature Conservancy’s regenerative agriculture work in North America and internationally. As part of that work, Challey collaborates across the broader organization priority areas to advance the North America Agriculture program’s regenerative crop systems and grazing lands strategies to achieve resilient, profitable and climate-smart working lands.
Prior to joining TNC in 2022, Challey was a principal in the sustainability practice at a strategic consulting firm. Before that, Challey was the sustainability manager at Blue Apron; chief of staff for the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets; director of farmer technical assistance for GrowNYC; and she held several roles with the New York Watershed Agricultural Council. Challey has a B.S. in environmental engineering and ecology from Drexel University and a M.S. in sustainability management from Columbia University.
