Biography
Graham McGaffin is state director for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) in Iowa. Graham leads TNC’s Iowa team to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends, both in Iowa and beyond. The Nature Conservancy operates in 79 countries around the world to develop and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing environmental challenges.
Graham is an Iowa native, growing up in the Loess Hills of northwest Iowa. He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming, where he received a B.S. in Economics and M.S. in Agricultural & Applied Economics. Graham serves in leadership positions on several local boards and has represented TNC on various statewide task forces and commissions, as well as serving as an expert both nationally and internationally on conservation of the tallgrass prairie ecosystem. Graham lives in Sioux City with his wife Emily, son Jack and daughter Lila.
