Biography
Sam Yeo is a Carbon Analyst for The Nature Conservancy’s Natural Climate Solutions Team. Sam leads the technical dimensions of geospatial, statistical analysis and other analyses for TNC’s Global Carbon Science Team to support the implementation of Natural Climate Solutions with an emphasis on forest habitats.
Prior to joining The Nature Conservancy, Sam has worked in GIS and Remote Sensing for a number of organizations both domestically and abroad, including: UCLA, the National Park Service, WWF, Ducks Unlimited, the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), and the French National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA). She received a B.Sc. in Environmental Science in Policy from St. Edwards University (Austin Texas) and a M.Sc. in Environmental Monitoring with a concentration in Remote Sensing from the University of Bordeaux (France).
