Biography
Sandra Robertson is founding Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive Officer of the Oxford University Endowment Management (OUem). OUem manages the Oxford Endowment Fund, whose investors include the University of Oxford, Oxford colleges and Trusts and other UK charities. The Oxford Endowment Fund (OEF) is invested globally and across asset classes.
Prior to Ouem, Sandra was at the Wellcome Trust from 1993 to 2007 in various roles including head of private equity, head of alternative assets and most recently as co-head of portfolio management, sitting on its investment committee from 1997 to 2007.
Sandra is a fellow at Oriel College, Oxford and commissioner for the Royal Commission of the Exhibition 1851. She currently serves as an Advisory Member to The Nature Conservancy’s Investment Committee and has previously served on the boards of TIFF Investment Management and RIT plc. She was also a member of the investment committee of The Wolfson Foundation and a trustee of the Queen’s Trust. Sandra has been recognized by several industry awards for her expertise in endowment investing, including a Private Equity Trailblazer award from Women in Private Equity, Power 100 CIO, Top 100 Most Influential Women in Finance and 100 Women in Finance’s European Industry Leadership Award.
