Sponsor a TNC Scientist!

To ensure that this year’s One Conservancy Science Gathering is as robust, inclusive, and relevant as possible, we would like to invite TNC Business Units to consider supporting TNC scientists and science staff from less-resourced BUs. Sponsorships will enable scientists and science staff to participate fully in all aspects of the Gathering in Mexico City, including optional social activities, local transportation, and virtual access for those who are unable to travel to the event due to visa and funding limitations. Please consider the following suggested sponsorships:

  • $4,000 will cover full registration, lodging expenses, and local transportation for one science staff from a lower-resourced Business Unit to attend the Gathering in person in Mexico City.

  • $2,500 will fund the full virtual registration cost for five science staff to participate in the Gathering program from their home country locations.

  • $1,000 will cover the cost of social activities and local cultural experiences in Mexico City for up to five scientists from lower-resourced Business Units*

  • $1,000 will provide meals not covered by the travel stipends for five scientists from lower-resourced Business Units who are traveling to the event.**

Sponsorships will provide greater accessibility for diverse science teams to participate, share their work, build their skills and professional networks, and ultimately strengthen TNC’s science expertise and capacity.

Please contact Rachel Amador (rachel.amador@tnc.org) with questions or to sponsor a TNC scientist or science staff..

*The OCSG team will provide recommendations and logistical coordination for evening social and local cultural activities, however, the cost of these activities is not included in the registration fee and will be covered by the individual participant(s).

**OCSG registration includes the opening plenary dinner. Other evening meals and meals during transit are not included in the conference program and will be covered by the individual participant(s).
