Community Celebration (FREE and for all ages)

Join The Nature Conservancy at the Grand River Conservation Campus in the Morgan Swamp Preserve on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. to celebrate community and conservation!

This event will showcase the Bissell Nature Center's family programs, unique plants and wildlife, and ways to enjoy this natural area with the whole family. There will also be a classic hot dog lunch, nature center displays, a presentation on how to get involved and a guided nature walks. Drop in anytime between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. to enjoy the day!

All About Owls

At 10 a.m., Melissa Goodwill from the Tamarack Wildlife Rehab Center will be presenting a dynamic program on owls and other raptors. Learn about owl behavior and meet a live owl (maybe a hawk or falcon, too!). Melissa will also have feathers, wings, talons and recorded owl calls to share.
