Eagle fans rejoice! Grab your binoculars and join TNC and partners on Saturday, February 1 for the annual Fulton-Mason Eagle Day. This free event across multiple sites has a day’s worth of great educational and entertaining activities for the whole family.

At our Emiquon Preserve in Lewiston, Illinois, you can:

  • Scope out amazing wildlife, starring eagles, at the Wetland Observatory
  • Go on a guided hike on the Ridge Trail to dig into the area’s archeological past
  • Warm up by a toasty campfire
  • Earn a collectible sticker badge as part of Emiquon’s 25th anniversary and learn how to enter for a chance at a grand prize

Visit the event’s sister sites at Dickson Mounds Museum, Havana Riverfront Park, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service-Chautauqua National Wildlife Refuge for live raptor programs, hands-on activities and crafts for kids and even more eagle-centric activities.
